Will a wash with a power washer remove the wax?

Depends on what soaps or solvents are being used with the power washer. Generally, they will remove SOME of the wax or protective coatings used on your car, so it's a good idea to wax the car every four to six months to keep it looking the best. Will a wash with a power washer remove the wax?
No it won't but if you want to remove the wax theres a product out there that will do it for you.

Hope that helps and best of luckWill a wash with a power washer remove the wax?
If you want to remove the wax, you need a chemical wash to remove the wax. Washing with soap and water will not do it.
It's the SOAP that will remove the wax . Don't use laundry detergent or dish soap. Car wash soap is available at the store, and is safe. Also at the car wash they use safe soap .
with the hot water and detergent, it will disapate it every time. however with al newer automotive paints, the clearcoat is a poly finish. wax is intended for older enaml base paints to remove the oxcidation of the paint. on newer vehicle, polish is the only thing to actualy use, to remove uv layer and stuck grime. use the polish that you apply in a wax form. this will also keep the cirlce scratch effect out of the suface, that happens while usung wax. wax has a pumas ingredient.
depends on witch power washer, if its the portable ones that have small gas engines then yes it will remove wax and the paint. if its at the local car wash dont worry about it there made for car washing and arent to strong, unless your paint is already peeling.
negative, if you waxed it a few days prior to waxing it should not

come off at all ! thats why they say you only need to wax your car 2 times a year because the wax hardens and makes a shell over your clearcoat paint so when you do wax the car the pressure washer will only remove the dirt that builds on top of the waxed surface.
