What's the best way to get gel/wax my hair without washing all my hair?

Yeah i have wax in the back of my hair which makes it stand up.

Yet i dont want to wash my hair out, how can i get the wax out of it?What's the best way to get gel/wax my hair without washing all my hair?
Get your hands wet and you can always knead it out. Rub your hair gently when your fingers are wet, and the wax will kind of ';melt off'; onto your fingers. Take a section of your hair to do this with at a time, but only the waxy parts! Brush your hair smooth, and then repeat the process.

Blowdry it or wait for it to dry(blowdry for best results) and wah-lah, non-waxy hair.

  • What shampoo washes wax out best?

i do not want to change the hair styling product because dax works best with my hair. all i want to know is what shampoo other than dax vegetable oil shampoo can i use to wash the wax out? What shampoo washes wax out best?
are you talking about hair wax? that should come out with any shampoo. If you mean another type of wax, good luck. What shampoo washes wax out best?
    Baby Johnson's Shampoo. lol
the truth is in my opinion is that you first use soap to your hair then you will find that your hair has no oil then you can put any kind of shampoo to your hair again in my opinion but thats gust what my parents sed when i placed oil into my hair.
any herbal essences should work i find them really acidic. and put a bit of lemon juice in your hair beofre you rinse it.
try and stick to using a good salon shampoo,

they are a little more expensive then supermarket brands but they are AWESOME!

put it on your hair and really lather it in! (give it a good scrub)

give your hair two washes with the shampoo and then a really light conditioner

and you'll be wax free and ready for tomorrow!
anti dandruff shampoo. You can get a tescos own brand for just 80 something p

    Jodie x
You want to use a clarifying shampoo like Pantene Pro V Daily Clarifying Shampoo. They are specifically designed to remove build-up of products from your hair, but because they are quite strong they aren't really suitable for frequent use. Save them for once every two or three weeks.

Best way to wash and wax a black car?

We just bought a brand new black Rav4. I haven't washed it yet, but I have been told over and over that a black car is harder to maintain when it comes to washing and waxing. They are easy to scratch and can get swirl marks. So I have the following questions:

    1. Best item to wash with (sponge, mit, etc)?

    2. Best soap or detergent?

    3. Best wax?

    4. Best item to apply and take off wax?

    5. What do you think about those buffing wheels?

Any other advice about black finishes will be appreciated.

Thanks.Best way to wash and wax a black car?
    1. A mitt is best but the key is to rinse it out regularly. It's all of the grit that gets stuck in your sponge, mitt, applicator that causes swirl marks.

    2. It's not really that important, any soap formulated for a car is fine--the only reason you shouldn't use dish soap is because it'll take off the wax.

    3. I like eagle one ';wet look'; but maguires and turtle wax make good waxes too. There's no point in spending huge money on waxes, they're all pretty similar.

    4. Apply wax with a slightly damp microfiber towel and remove it with a dry microfiber towel. Make sure these are extremely clean too.

    5. Stay away from power buffing wheels. They are very difficult to use correctly and they are extremely easy to use incorrectly. You can cause severe paint damage in less than a couple of seconds with a buffing wheel if you use it incorrectly. Just stay away from them . . . while you're at it, don't trust the idiot at the car wash to use it on your car either.

I'll add one that you forgot, drying, and it's a pretty important step

    6. Invest in a REAL lamb skin shammy. Rinse it often and keep it clean. Most swirl marks come during drying.

I'll actually add one more, and it's a tough one to swallow.

    7. Accept that no matter what you do, no matter how careful you are and no matter how much you spend on top of the line equipment, you're going to get swirl marks and black cars show them the worst. All you can do is try to minimize them. The absolute biggest enemy is any grit that you're rubbing around the car so the key is frequent rinsing of whatever you're using.

Good luck!Best way to wash and wax a black car?
I have always had the best luck with Meguiars Professional Products.

Just make sure your wash mit, towels and bucket are clean before you start and never wash or wax you car in direct sunlight.
1, very soft mit, be sure to keep it clean

2 and 3, meguiars products are great

    4,micro fiber cloth

5, leave the buffing to the pros
    1. The best is tons of soapy water. About four gallons to wash a car. Slather it on. I prefer to use a wool mitt because its long, straight fibers tend to release dirt when rinsed.

    2. The one that makes the water feel slippery. Most auto-specific wash is fine. As you move up the food chain you get better lubricants and gloss enhancers.

    3. The million dollar question and there is no answer. Synthetics are more durable than a traditional paste wax.

    4. Apply with a soft little disc sponge or microfiber applicator. Remove with microfiber NOT made in China.

    5. A random orbital polisher like the Porter Cable 7336 is great for paint correction. It is definitely a machine a hobbyist can feel comfortable using.

Advice: Use tons of soapy water when you wash and don't touch the car when it's dry. If you have smudges, clean them up with a quick detailer. Scratches and marring are caused when you rub on the paint. Use something slippery between your hand and the paint and you will greatly reduce damage.
its not that theyre easy to get scratches/swirls

they just show up more easily

    1. any will do

just use 2 bucket method with grit gaurds

    2. meguiars gold class

    3. preference, but meguiars nxt 2.0 tech wax or gold class

    4. microfiber applicator or foam applicator and microfiber towel

    5. well, theres rotary buffers, dual action buffers, and random orbital buffers. then i guess theres mothers powerball, but that doesnt count. Rotarys are for severe paint correction, and not to be used by novices, so dont have to worry. Dual actions are for paint corrections, and are a lot safer than rotarys since they have a clutch, so they dont burn through the paint. Can apply waxes with them, but pointless to spend 150 bucks one just to apply waxes. Random orbitals are only good for applying waxes. can pick them up at walmart for about 20 bucks. But i still suggest applying wax by hand, wont make much a difference.

When you apply wax to your hair end of the day you wash out does your hair falls out many?

You make no sense in what you just asked so i can't answer your question..

Should i wash and wax my car now?

i just bought a new toyota venza last december 20 2008, but i havent had it waxed by my dealer cause i was afraid that they might make tiny scratches.. but now its been raining and it has been left outside for quite some time.. i have gather lotsa dusts and rain marks every where.. should i wax my car now? i mean will protect my cars finish better?Should i wash and wax my car now?
NO WAY, First you need to get the car washed, but not with a bucket and sponge, you need to get it jet washed. This will help to get rid of the larger bits of dirt off the body work. After wards, get the buck and sponge and give it a good sponging down.

If you skipped the first stage, you would end up transforming you sponge or polishing rag into a sharp bit sand paper which increase the chance making those fine scratch marks in the paint. (A big thing if your car is black)

And finally.........the wax will protect your finish for 'slightly' longer then if you didn't use it, some high Quality waxes actually repel water so it just slides off the car instead of just sitting on it.Should i wash and wax my car now?
Yes you should get it waxed.

If the dealership will do it free have them do it.

If not make sure you take it to a reputable car wash who will wash it and dry it well before wax.

For wash or Wax? All commercially available car wash soaps are essentially the same. I prefer Meguiars for the wax, make sure it is pure carnauba and has no cleaners in it. Cleaners in wax tend to scratch if you are using it by hand.

Uh... your usage of ';too'; is correct. Don't let Jay talk you into thinking you're less perfect than you are.Since my 5 year old is too sick to wash and wax my car today, isn't he too sick to go the movies tonight?
    Yes I think not!!

:oSince my 5 year old is too sick to wash and wax my car today, isn't he too sick to go the movies tonight?
Omg...... you make them do that! mannn........ give the poor kid a break. Bring to the movies....... %26gt;:(
You know it seems your son is not gonna make it in this world. he cant dance, he refuses to like the easy bake oven, and now he refuses to be your slave. I can tell that he needs serious counseling and I have talked among others in my neighborhood and they agree that i should council him because I have perfect hair and a birthmark of a shoe on my backside.
    Well maybe not .
nooooo he is five dont make him clean ur car let him go to the movies let him have some fun
Too sick to work, then too sick to play.
I hope you just made a typo...

I hope you ment 15 instead of 5

if not, you got a problem
You should only let him go to the movies if he does the laundry.
    You forgot ';detailing the interior with a toothbrush';
wow, that is just so wrong!!!!

but, seeing that u posted this on P/S it possibly isn't true

    haha!!!

    =)
U make ur 5 year old do that???? That isn't rite.
Yes but what the hell are you doing giving that little slave breaks?
Yes. In fact I think he may be too sick to eat for the next week. Tell the little slacker to get busy.
if hes TOO sick to wash and wax hes definitly to sick for pop tarts. he's faking. besides it's a ford focus how hard can it be. hold on my five year old is crying about having to shovel the snow off the driveway ill brb
I have to agree with Papa McCain - he is, after all, a father with a hat. And a name.
Yea, and he will be sick when he comes back and sees you bloodied by me
I think he needs to man up. I bet you he's only pretending to be sick to get out of work.
    That's mean, Aunt Dingelbury.
Put a raincoat on him, stuff his nose with kleenex and kick his butt outside. No shirking your duties just because poor baby has the sniffles. You trying to raise a wuss?
it depends thats what my parent dose to me
No of coarse not. ur kid just duz not wanna do all of ur durty wurk duhhh
why would a five year old wash and wax ur car??? bad parenting***********
ah poor kid. if he's sick, then start being a good parent and take care of him. when he get's better, go take him to the movies.
    i'm sorry ,but yes.

you guy'll just have to find something to rent at home, and cozy him up on the couch with some chix NoodL-oos %26amp; ginger-ale.
Yes, especially at night when it is cooler.

Going to the movies the 5 year old could infect a lot of other people.

The 5 year old immune system is weaker and could make there sickness worst from all the germs they would be expose to at the movies.

    Hope this helps your argument.
I think you should really consider trading him in for a new model.
    i hope u mean 15 year old..

    poor kid...
My answer to that would be yes. But I have to ask, what are your doing making a 5 yr old wash and wax your car for anyway? I can see helping, but please please please say that your child isn't your little slave! If your child is sick, especially that young, keep them inside, make them gets lots of rest so that they can get better. Think of all the germs that are at the movie theater...you don't want your child's sickness to get worse, do you?
    nope
You make your five year old wash and wax your car all byhimself? Isn't that a little much? Anyhow, I don't think he's too sick to go to the movies, he just shouldn't eat any junk food. That is unless he's throwing up, then I'd say he's too sick. Hope he gets feeling better

    Car wash and wax ?

ive just bought a new car ,, and dont fancy taking it through the car wash ..can anyone recommend a good car wash and wax?so i can wash it by hand ??Car wash and wax ?
I bought a car shampoo with wax in it from halfords, bought my sexy new black car up a dream and if a woman can use it .......!! lol

    xxCar wash and wax ?
Good move to avoid car washes, as they leave small scratches, the best car shampoo and wax is autoglym.

You should have a hand wash service near you, a lot of Polish set up these business and they are about 5-7 pounds and they chamois it off. then you can polish with auto glym when u get home.
All Autoglym products score highly in their respective tests.

    I use them myself.
I know most people I talk witn like meguires products. stay away from turtle wax

At most how long can u wear a gatsby wax without washing it tt maximises hair care?

ive been wearing gatsby and do not wash my hair everyday(because i use wella hair straightener and i need tt to kep my hair straight)

ive been studying into hair care techniques and i worry wat i might be doing might affect my hair or scalp...(i reli am worried tt my hair will grow bald in my late 30s or 40s)im 16 btwAt most how long can u wear a gatsby wax without washing it tt maximises hair care?
I use gatsby wax, I say the maximum is 2 days.

If you use wax, you need to wash it out each night (with clarifying shampoo) , or you will go bald. You can leave it in a few nights, but not every night. Your scalp needs to breathe, any wax (especially gatsby) damages hair follicles.

Trying to sell a truck tomorrow. Wax it or just wash and dry? Husband says waxing shows scratches.?

You can color sand most small scratches out of your car forever. Most waxes leave a white residue that stays in these small scratches and if you don't get it out of the scratches, it will make the scratches stand out. They do however make several waxes called Color-Back in which the wax is actually the color or very close to the color of your car. They make it in many different colors just for this purpose. This way when you wax it, it actually fills the scratches, making them virtually disappear. Another way to go is to use a clear wax. Hope this helps.Trying to sell a truck tomorrow. Wax it or just wash and dry? Husband says waxing shows scratches.?
The scratches will show whether waxed or not. Waxing will make it look as good as it can and some of the minor scratches will disappear.Trying to sell a truck tomorrow. Wax it or just wash and dry? Husband says waxing shows scratches.?
Wax it. The better it looks the sooner it will sell and the more you may be able to get from it.
Listen to your hubby 'cause you'll never hear the end of it if ya don't!!
Just give it a good hand washing with carwash soap( NOT PALMOLIVE!) and a good wash mitt. Then chamois it dry. It will Sparkle! I've used hair shampoo before and had excellent results
If it's black, no wax. It shows like crazy. A good wash and dry should be enough. If you have chrome, shine that up a bit.
just listen to your man, is that so hard to do?

    obey
Just wash it. It's a truck, I don't see what good waxing a truck would do since trucks are use on a more work %26amp; duty sense than cars.

I am using Sebastian Crude Clay in my hair, it will not wash out, it has bees wax in it, any suggestions?

Get a good clarifying shampoo. Also, you can put baking soda into your regular shampoo. Treat it like regular shampoo, but leave it on for about 1 minute and scrub lightly. If that doesn't work, go to your hairdresser.

Hope this helps!I am using Sebastian Crude Clay in my hair, it will not wash out, it has bees wax in it, any suggestions?
    Clarifying shampoo.

If you need it out now, dish soap is a really good clarifying cleanser.

Does car wax come off when you wash your car?

yes/no?Does car wax come off when you wash your car?
Depends what kind it is. Cheap stuff you buy at the local store the answer is usually yes. Reason is, because most of those waxes are made mostly of fillers and oils to give you a short term pop. Also depends on what kind of soap you are using to wash. Local coin op car washes use extremely strong soaps which will strip most waxes. Even using a good quality soap in the wrong concentrations will strip some cheaper waxes.

Try GuruWax. GuruWax is a blend of acrylic polymers and natural brazilian white carnauba wax. Best of both worlds, durable polymer sealants and deep carnauba shine. Don't skimp on this!Does car wax come off when you wash your car?
It depends on the wax you use and also it depends on how you wax your car. If you uses a high quality product wax it will take how many washes before it take off. But if you wash your car with a wrong soap like detergent, it will just ruin the wax on your car. You should use the proper cleaning product to maintain and to make your wax last longer. Hope this helps!
The answer is yes. However the concentration of soap is the deciding factor on how much wax is removed. Proper dilutions of car wash soap should be used in order to maintain the durability of a wax. Most OTC washes are approx. 1oz to a gallon of water.
If you use the wrong soap, yes it will. Always use soap made for cars and not greasy dishes and pans.
    its both

are you wearing off the wax when you wash the car? yes

is it ALL going to be gone after one wash? no
Yes it will be washed off after a few washings, but not the first or second time.
If you wash the car with harsh soap or dish soap it will take the wax off.
no, it takes many washings to break the wax down
    no, wax just wears down
with soap and water... not the coating it will take off
    no
    No, it does not.

Can you give turtles a wax??? Or wash them with soap???

I have two turltles that lived in an outdoor pond this summer. Now that I have brought them back inside to their tank I have noticed that their shells look dirty still no mater how many times I rinse them off. They look like they have dirt crusted under the top layer of their shells and it seems a little scratchy looking. Before they were outside they looked really shiny and smooth. Is there a soap or wax type product out there made for turtles????? Or could there be something wrong with them??Can you give turtles a wax??? Or wash them with soap???
I had a red-eared slider turtle, and there is product called Turtle VitaShell that is a great conditioner/cleaner for their shells. You just get a regular toothbrush, get some of the wax on it, and massage it into their shells. It works really well.

A link to the product is below. Can you give turtles a wax??? Or wash them with soap???
why do u need to do that? do u want to keep the shell clean? huh?!
Sure if you would like to kill him/her. Water and a toothbrush work

    Goldie
Look at pictures of turtle shell rot. If they look like that, take them to the vet. They may have a renal ailment and need vitamin and calcium shots.

If it is just dirt, take some Betadyne, and a toothbrush, and scrub away. Make sure they do not ingest it. Then rinse in warm water...

Using Betadyne cleans any external parasites and eggs it could carry. If you still want to use soap, choose something like Cetaphil (Wal-Mart sells its generic.) It is a very simple soap, non-allergenic and safe. It will moisturize the shell.
i also have a turtle.so when my turtle gets dirty like ur one i use my soap on an old tooth brush and gently rub his shell,

and when im done my turtle is shiny,u can try doing this if u like or take some soap onto ur finger and glently rub it on ur turtles shell.
Frankly, your best bet is to just use a toothbrush. I'm not a fan of using chemicals on pets unless absolutely needed. Just give them a good scrubbing on their shells. Over time they will be back to new. If you are going to use anything... make sure it is made for turtles. Good luck!

If you left traces of car wax on your car during summer and it won't wash out now,?

I did something similar the first time i waxed my car i did the whole thing in the sun then started to buff the wax out it took me all weekend to fix it and i got a real good workout. i do not have any advice as to how to do it safely i would maybe try putting more wax on it to soften it up and buffing it again . good luck!

Will my car wash soap wash off the polish and wax ?

i just polished and waxed my car last week and i want to have a car wash today, will the soap wash off the polish and wax?

(i'm using meguiar gold class shampoo and conditioner)Will my car wash soap wash off the polish and wax ?
i like zaino car polish i find it holds up to a lot of car washings. Will my car wash soap wash off the polish and wax ?
Please, disregard the second answer. Any dish soap has the potential of stripping off your brand new wax job. Dish wash soap is strong enough to strip grease off your dishes, pots and pans. Imagine what that will do to the wax! Always use car wash soap such as Mothers, Meguiars or Blue Coral.
To the last answer, waahhhh? Wax every two weeks?

    Anyway, according to Mequiar:

The premium formula gently foams away tough dirt, road grime and contaminants without compromising wax protection
Right, the second answer is right

If you use mild dish washing detergent you should be fine. You need to wax and polish I believe once every two weeks. Also, it depends on how hard you scrub.

  • I cut my hair once a week, wash and put gel/wax in my hair every day. Will any of these make me go bald?

quicker?I cut my hair once a week, wash and put gel/wax in my hair every day. Will any of these make me go bald?
no...cutting your hair frequently doesn't affect the growth at the root, the gel and wax can cause build up but it shouldn't do anything to cause baldness.

Besides, baldness is genetic so it will happen naturally no matter what you do (outside of hair growth therapies).I cut my hair once a week, wash and put gel/wax in my hair every day. Will any of these make me go bald?
Washing your hair everyday is bad for it. It takes out the natural oils that keep your hair strong. As for gel I cannot say. When you get older make sure you have pleanty of iron in your system...lack of iron can cause hairloss. That and tyroid cancer
maybe gel is really bad for your hair it kills it so maybe but you cut your hair so maybe not
Nope, these won't make you go bald.
well cutting your hair all the way can make you go bald???? idk any other reason it would.

    2. clay car-This removes contaminants stuck to your paint that normal washing wont get off. I recommend Meguiar's Smooth surface clay kit. You can also use the clay bar on your windows/wheels too, but of course, do the paint first. Can also wash your car after claying, but isnt necessary

3.paint cleaners-These remove swirl marks/scratches/oxidation/etc. Different strenghts, depending on the severity of the paint. I suggest Meguiars Swirlx. Swirlx may not be aggressive enough, so you may need to step it up to Meguiar's ultimate compound, then follow it with Swirlx. How to use Paint cleaners: after washing and claying your car. Apply the product to a microfiber applicator. Work the product in a 16x16 in section for about a minute, then remove with microfiber towel, dont let dry. Inspect results, repeat process if needed, see if its up to your par, if not, step up to ultimate compound. Otherwise, if youre done with the section, move on and repeat. You apply ultimate compound in the same way.

4.Pure Polish. This step is optional, as if you were to use a paint cleaner, such as the ones mentioned above, since they already have polishing oils in them. You'll notice more of a difference in using a pure polish on darker colors, but wont hurt to do it on lighter colors. Meguirs deep crystal polish is their most user friendly polish. Their #7 polish is the best polish, but side-by-side, it will be hard to tell a difference. To apply polish, apply to microfiber applicator. Work in about the same size section, kinda message it into the paint (much like applying lotion to your skin) for about 40 seconds, then wipe off with microfiber towel, dont let dry.

Wax:. Protects paint, gives shine, locks in polish. This is the only product you let dry. Apply to microfiber applicator, apply to paint evenly in circle motions. Let dry to haze. Wipe off with microfiber towel. Two applications is best. Also best to wait 12 hours between applications, but if not, wont hurt. Nxt 2.0 tech wax is Meguiars most popular wax.

Which hair wax is the best. ie. which is easiest to wash away?

i ride a bike, so i have to wear a helmet. are there any other alternatives?

which is the easiest to wash away? currently i use an old Gatsby wax. i have to wash my hair at least twice with shampoo to remove it.Which hair wax is the best. ie. which is easiest to wash away?
try using VO5 Styling Wax (in a blue pot)

After removing the helmet, apply to your hair

when you want to wash it out just rub your hair with a towel (don't need to wash it) and it will just fade away, but when its in your hair it holds it great and doesnt fade unless u rub it for about a minute with a dry towel.

Do you think that using a dip brush to wash my car can strip the wax/finish ?

    like this one http://www.surfcitygarage.com/images/ite鈥?/a>

is using a sponge that much better to use overall? or is the brush better?Do you think that using a dip brush to wash my car can strip the wax/finish ?
Use a wash MIT rinsing and changing sides often. The brush no matter what it is will scratch the paint. Only wash by hand if light to med dirt, if it is very dirty or muddy go to the car wash and wash it. ( Wand Type No brushes at all) The heavy dirt and hand washing is like washing with sandpaper. Waxing and correct washing will eliminate the swirl marks (scratches) on your car Use only car wash soap..............UJNDo you think that using a dip brush to wash my car can strip the wax/finish ?
As long as the bristles are soft, it won't strip the wax. If you don't want the wax stripped off, don't use Dawn dish detergent either.

Personally, I use the washing mitt (http://www.surfcitygarage.com/detail1.ph鈥?/a> to wash my vehicles.
Use that brush on all my vehicles. Very soft bristles, but make sure you don't use it dry. Gets in small crevices fairly well.

Don't use any type of dish washing liquid. Use something specifically developed for vehicles.
The soap is what removes the wax, not the brush or sponge. If you use an automotive soap it should preserve the wax. Or look for a PH 7.0 balanced soap.

Items like dish soap and all will strip the wax in one washing.

Would u pay someone to wash, clean, wax n polish ur car while u asleep?

e.g. grooming ur car at ur doorstep...Would u pay someone to wash, clean, wax n polish ur car while u asleep?
personally, i would just do it myself.Would u pay someone to wash, clean, wax n polish ur car while u asleep?
Actually, no. If my family is asleep, the last thing i want is a group of strangers in my driveway rumaging around in my car in the middle of the night. That's just too creepy for my taste.

Now, washing my car while I'm at work is another story. I would definately pay for that.
why not...i dont stand around while they do it at shop...i drop it off..
YES! YES! YES! it would even be better if they left the bill in the mailbox when they are done so i can continue sleeping.

Do you have to wash your hands and feet before and after a paraffin wax treatment?

Yes of course. After doesnt matter so much.

  • Car wash and wax soap?

Does car wash soap you buy that contains wax, commonly called ';wash and wax'; actually provide some protection or gloss compared to regular car wash soap?Car wash and wax soap?
Car wash soap that contains wax provides little lasting protection. What it does do is give the car a little more shine after you wash it. It is not intended to replace regular waxing. I use both. When I'm not waxing and just doing my weekly wash I use one with wax. When I do my monthly wash /wax I use a wash that doesn't have wax in it and is a little stronger to really get the grime off. Stronger soaps may strip wax which is why I use the one with wax in it when performing routine washes. There are some detaling sprays that will also do the same basic thing. Put on a light coat of wax to boost the shine a little. A company called Optimum makes a spray on wax that puts on a lasting coat of wax just by spraying it on and wiping it off. I included a few links that may help you.Car wash and wax soap?
The more you pay the better the product in this case I think it is true.
This type of wash/wax product will work very well on a vehicle that already has a decent gloss on it. In terms of protection though, it will be minimal. The best advice is to hand wax the car at least once a year. The end of summer is best in terms of protection, since you need it the most in the winter. Wax wears off and is also destroyed by the sun and pollutants in the atmosphere. So, the later in the summer you put it on, the more protection it will give you in the winter. The products you asked about will help keep it glossy until the next hand wax.
When it comes to car wash that contain wax they tend to leave a film when used as the primary soap over an extended period. The most important detail to consider in a car wash soap is that it doesn't TAKE OFF or EMULSIFY the wax that has been applied to the paint. If you WANT to remove the wax, simply use liquid dishwashing detergent. It'll strip almost anything from a paint surface.

I distribute Wicked Products detailing products through http://www.WickedProducts.ca Check out our Sky-Blu Ultra Wash. It contains no wax but will not strip wax from your paint. It can be viewed at http://www.wickedproducts.ca/product_info.php?cPath=28%26amp;products_id=18

When you decide to wax your car, you might consider purchasing an inexpensive 6'; electric orbital polisher available at Canadian Tire, Walmart or similar. They get the polish deep into the pores of the surface and really get the shine back as well as considerably speeding up the process and saving your elbow grease. You shouldn't need to spend more than thirty dollars for one and your vehicle's surface maintenance is certainly worth thirty bucks!!

Costco offers a twenty pack of micro fibre cloths that are about the best deal anywhere. They work great to remove polish residue after it hazes. They're washable with standard laundry detergent but don't ever use fabric softener with micro fibre. Good luck!

    Hot wax car wash?

whats the advantage of it and how much does it cost?Hot wax car wash?
Forget it. It's not worth 10 cents. It will make it impossible to see out the windshield when you use the wipers.Hot wax car wash?
I use the do it yourself car wash and always spray my car down with wax just before I rinse it off for the final time and my car always beads up water when it's wet and my windshield is always like rain-X when it rains, hardly need to turn the wipers on most of the time. The advantage is you always have protection on your paint through the winter when you can't get a good coat of hand wax on your car and the cost is only the price of the car wash which is a grand total of $3.50 for wash, wax, and rinse.

are you black or white? they have different hair types. i wouldn't know how to answer this.I put gatsby wax on my hair everyday do i need to shampoo my hair or just wash it with water?
I am using gatsby too the black one. And it's really cool coz it can hold up my hair the way I want it to be.

Yeah you should still shampoo your hair if possible apply a conditioner too. Coz gatsby is also a chemical which eventually put your hair at high risk of getting damage. So in other words you must still nourish your hair and heey when you do the shampoo stuff it can also make your hair more manageable!!

    Hope that I help yah!!

Happy new year to all lol.
    Hi there,

You should really wash your hair after using any hair products, especially wax. Wax can leave a lot of build-up on your hair.
Just wash it out with water, clean it every week with shampoo though.

    What wax?
By washing in toothpaste solution (toothpaste mixed with water)...
Oh, I hate that stuff! It leaves a film in your mouth...so gross. I always spray the grapes with some sort of natural fruit/veg cleaner like Earth Friendly Products Fruit %26amp; Vegetable Wash, for example. You can generally find these products right in the produce section. Spray liberally, rub it around on the grapes a little, and rinse well with warm water. It's the only way I'll eat grapes!

Can you wax ur car right after wash, without clay bar?

    in a word, yes.

if you wash your car, dry it, and run you hand down the hood, and it doesn't feel smooth, a clay bar will get rid of the ';debris'; that's caked onto your clear coat. the clay bar will remove this dirt and make the paint smooth again. afterwards, you MUST put wax on.

you also MUST follow the clay instructions. you don't want to use it dry, you have to use a lubricant with it or you'll take paint off.

Usually every couple years is a good time for claying. it'd tedious, but will keep the car smooth %26amp; shiny. Can you wax ur car right after wash, without clay bar?
Sure, feel the paint after washing it, if its smooth you don't need to clay. Can you wax ur car right after wash, without clay bar?
sure you can, you don't have to use the clay bar at all if you don't want to, the clay bar has only been around a few years so how did people ever wax their cars before the 90's?

one of the worst things that i see is people using the wrong type of soap if you use anything other than auto wash it will remove the wax. Wax will last the longest on a smooth clean surface. I am always asked what the best type of wax is . Meguires next generation or eagle one nano wax. make sure your car is clean feel the surface is it gritty you may need to use the clay bar to remove any surface contaminants. rain will effect the life of your wax and water spots are caused by the sun shining on the water droplets and etching the impurity's into the paint use the waxes that i have said and they will last alot longer than any other brand
All coatings are effected by the weather. Some more easily than others. What promise does the company make?
Yes. Don't wax while it's raining. Waste of time, effort and wax. Wait till the forecast says you've got 24 hours of dry weather, or do it under cover.

I always prefer to do it under cover myself...
Depending on the wax, most will leave spots if the car wax hasnt had 24 hrs to set. Try to keep dry for as long as possible, if you can't, chamois it asap

A local car wash cahreges $8 per wash and $10 per wash and wax...?

    $3100 total sales

    - 200 washes @ $8.00 each=$1600

    Leaves a balance of $1500

    divide that by $10 for a wash %26amp; wax=150

you fine tune the details...A local car wash cahreges $8 per wash and $10 per wash and wax...?
    8x+10y=3100

    Answer: 8(200)+10y=3100

    1600+10y=3100

    10y=1500

    y=150

there were 150 wash and waxes
    x = no of wash

y = no wash and wax

    8x + 10y = 3100

    x = 200

    8(200) + 10y = 3100

    1600 + 10y = 3100

    10y = 1500

    y =150

    Hope this helps
    $1600 in wash only at 200 x $8

    $1500 in wash and wax at 150 x $10

    =$3100 total
Let x be the number of washes only.

Let y be the number washes and waxes.

    8x+10y=3100 is the model

    8(200) +10y = 3100

    10y = 1500

    y = 150 washes and waxes
    no thanks
    200 times 8 = 1600

    10w=3100 - 1600

    10w=1500

    w= 150 wash/waxes
if 200 were washes, then 110 were waxs
No thanks...you can do your own homework.
Set up the first equation for $8 per wash so 8w and $10 per wash and was so 10s and set them equal to 3100 since you know the total sales

    8w + 10s = 3100

They tell you that there were 200 washes so make w = 200

    w = 200

    8(200) + 10s = 3100

    1600 + 10s = 3100

    10s = 1500

    s = 150

    Check:

    8(200) + 10(150) = 3100

    1600 + 1500 = 3100

    3100 = 3100

there were 200 washes and 150 wax and washes

I might not wash it if I use a TINY bit of spray or wax. But definitely will if I used more than that and also if I have ANY amount of gel in my hair: gel is nasty... the build-up can cause flaky scalps, hair loss and facial pimples. Yikes!
No, but i shall from now on.
    yes,

because you dont want your hair to be matted down. because in the mornings you will be putting more things in your hair. wash and rap is a must.and tie down.
Definitely unless i'm dog tired then i don't. However, if you just put a little of hair spray/gel/wax, i suppose its ok if don't wash your hair before going to bed at night. Just change pillowcase the next day. :D
I don't - my hair would be too wacky the next morning.

Hi, someone did the same to my non-wax floor, and to be honest with you, I never did get it off. I have a new floor since then. The only way you can try to get it off is , to use straight ammonia . Pour some on a small area, wait five minutes and rinse it off. Do that until you have covered the whole area. Sorry. Don't you hate that? ByeeSome one waxed my non wax floor how do i get it off the wax its a pastey whie looking whenever i wash the f
    Removing Wax from non-wax floor:

    1/2 c ammonia

    1 c laundry soap

    1 gal warm water

Apply with clean sponge mop-will turn cloudy and soft-scrub area with stiff brush-this will loosen wax-rinse with cool clean water; nothing cleans as well as doing it on your hands and knees-if you have time. I also recommend using Armstrong Floor Cleaner once a week;this will help bring back shine.

and its very challenging for me to palm roll them !Ive had my dreadlocks since sunday , can i wash them ? ive put too much wax in and i dunno how to get it out?
yes, wash your hair with a stocking cap. Dilute your shampoo. The stocking cap will help keep the dreads in place. Gently rub the shampoo on your head...through the stocking cap. (you can make one by cutting an old pair of stockings). To rince the shampoo out, just lightly press your head to get all the suds out. To dry, leave the cap on. use a towel and blot the excess water. Carefully take the cap off. Hope this helps.

sounds you got yourself in a bit o' trouble there. there are many ways of removing dreads

    1) literally cutting your dread out, but obviously you dont wanna ruin your duaghters lovely locks

    2) use a connditioner over a couple of days and it will gently ease the dread out.

    3) i know it sounds crazy but i have freinds you have tried and tested this method and it works. what you want to do is use a washing up liquid any kind , it often works better than a conditioner and its alot cheaper.

Or is Veet better? I just want to know really if that stuff works because I hate shaving and I refuse to wax.Does Nair work? The kind that you put on in the shower and then wash off? Not the wax.?
I have used both Nair and Veet's Sensitive Skin formula to great success. It smells awful, (like burning hair) and leaves a mildly discomforting rash for a few days, but skin stays cleaner longer than shaving. The hairs that come in are not as coarse.

The downside is that you need to let your hair grow longer to use a depilatory than if you just shave it. Give it a try and see how it works for you, everybody's skin and hair are different, after all.

Best of luck.Does Nair work? The kind that you put on in the shower and then wash off? Not the wax.?
Yes, it works, but it smells awful. I much prefer shaving.

It's also good to mix into the shampoo of your enemies. Works like a charm, actually. ;)
