Ive had my dreadlocks since sunday , can i wash them ? ive put too much wax in and i dunno how to get it out?

i dont have elastics on the ends

yes, wash your hair with a stocking cap. Dilute your shampoo. The stocking cap will help keep the dreads in place. Gently rub the shampoo on your head...through the stocking cap. (you can make one by cutting an old pair of stockings). To rince the shampoo out, just lightly press your head to get all the suds out. To dry, leave the cap on. use a towel and blot the excess water. Carefully take the cap off. Hope this helps.
